By controlling the amount of oxygen in the space, shelf life, quality and stability are all improved. For situations like working with an integrated metal detector, these Non-Ferrous packets use alternatives to the common iron/lead based compounds such as ascorbic acid (vitamin C), sodium sulfite, and activated carbon.

Applications: Oxygen absorbers extend the shelf life of your food, prevent oxidation, and are even used to protect from insect damage, Commonly used in food packaging, or other oxygen sensitive materials. FDA approved and safe for most commercial use. Specially formulated for use in lines that require metal detectors that might react to normal scavengers.
