StayDry™ silica gel beads are a granular, porous form of silicon dioxide made synthetically from sodium silicate. Paired with 4 parts Molecular Sieve desiccants adds to the moisture control strength. It is used as a desiccant to remove water vapor via ADSORPTION onto its surface. These Silica gel beads have had a moisture sensitive color added with cobalt chloride to show progression from dry orange, to wet green. The pouch features a clear window on the back to see if the contents are saturated and need to be replaced / renewed.

Applications: Commonly used with food applications, but is suitable for applications extending into storage, shipping and some medical applications. Also can be renewed by heating pouches to 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 to 2 hours.
