These pouches were produced primarily for use in sterile medical applications. Customer applications include 8 kGy (kiloGray) Gamma sterilization for luer locks, pipette tips, and other products. Featuring 0.25" side seals and tear notch 0.375" from sealed end ensure you are left with a simple and elegant-looking product. The pouches were made from FDA Medical Grade materials and feature a load lip opening to help with manual pouch filling. Simply heat seal after filling and have a product ready for use when needed - just use the tear notch to open.
Applications: Food products, food testing, medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, vitamins and supplements, biological samples, veterinary products, electronic components, semiconductors, any product sensitive to moisture or oxygen
Material: This pouch is made from PAK48MT2500, which provides good protection against corrosion and oxidation. Used on items requiring moderate protection against the environment, the outer layer of polyester (Mylar) provides the structure with oxygen barrier properties ten times that of a polyethylene bag twice as thick.
