StayDry™ silica gel beads are a granular, porous form of silicon dioxide made synthetically from sodium silicate. It is used as a desiccant to remove water vapor via ADSORPTION onto its surface. These majoritively non-indicating silica gel beads have had a moisture sensitive color added to 2% of the beads with cobalt chloride to show progression from dry blue, to wet pink. These bulk loose beads come sealed for use, and can be used to refill large scale sorbent applications.

Applications: Commonly used with food applications, but is suitable for applications extending into storage, shipping and some medical applications. Also can be renewed by heating pouches to 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 to 2 hours.
