Absorbs normal (linear) hydrocarbons to n-C4H10, alcohols to C4HgOH, mercaptans (thiols) to C4HgSH. Will not absorb iso compounds or rings greater than C4. Will adsorb those molecules having a critical pore diameter of less than five angstroms. e.g.: Methanol, Ethane and Propane.
