In flexible packaging, a hang hole refers to a die cut opening near the top of a pouch that allows it to be placed on a retail display hook. The hang hole is normally positioned on the reinforced "header" of a bag, which is designed to be large and rigid enough to give the area around the hole more durability.

Holes are typically a ¼" diameter circle, but are also available in configurations such as OSHA (also known as Delta), and Sombrero (also known as Inverted T), to accommodate different retail display systems.
