STORAGE FEES: - NO EXCEPTIONS

     IMPAK is very careful to inform people in advance of when product will be completed, often several days before finished production. We will NOT make exceptions for storage fees. We feel strongly about this since major multi-national corporations have paid them even though we don’t want anyone to pay a single day of storage fees.

     WE NEED THE SPACE. We are trying to make this as clear as we can – we need the space. Example: Catalent Pharma Solutions placed a PO on March 30th (revised and accepted on May 3rd) for our 51” vacuum sealer, medically validated, with our Siemens-based IS2 intelligence sealing system. We are very proud of this equipment; its acceptance throughout the medical and semiconductor industry is a simple matter of record.

     Catalent Inc. is a renowned company, recognized as a global provider of delivery technologies, development, drug manufacturing, biologics, gene therapies, and consumer health products with over 14,000 employees, including more than 2,000 scientists and technicians. This particular division was Catalent Pharma Solutions.

     We knew that holding to our position on storage fees might negatively affect our relationship with a high value, globally recognized company. IMPAK must treat everyone fairly. Once again – we do not want storage fees to be a source of revenue. In the case of Catalent, 11 different people were copied on the original email informing them that the product was complete. After payment, the already crated equipment was shipped promptly.

     When we contact your company, we will do our best to inform everyone that has ever made contact with IMPAK. We do not want the fees; we NEED the space.

 

     Important Note: Effective October 1 2023, storage fees, which are $45/pallet/day after 3 days from order completion, will then increase to $90/pallet/day after 10 calendar days. We produce some of the finest equipment worldwide and are very proud of it. Please have your accounting department ready – just as importantly, have your shipping department ready. A delay in pickup by a customer-specified carrier means that we will hold your machine or finished flexible product until storage fees are paid. In the hope that it will make our future relationship as professional as businesslike as possible.
