The DriBox™ system features a refillable clear plastic desiccant container box and indicating silica gel beads. Features StayDry™ 4A (Ångström) Molecular Sieve (synthetic alumina silicate) beads contain a uniform network of crystalline pores and empty adsorption cavities developed for it's efficient adsorbtion of moisture in a wider range of tempertaures than other common desiccant medias. It is used as a desiccant to remove water vapor via ADSORPTION onto its surface. AAbsorbs molecules as large as butane. Good for water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (SO2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ethylene (C2H4), ethane (C2H6), propane (C3H6), and ethanol (C2H6O). Rigid plastic container can be opened for fresh desiccant refills. Each DriBox is good for 3 cubic feet - great for safes, gun cabinets and in other applications where a low RH is desired.

Applications: Commonly used in industrial and commercial applications that require strong moisture absorbtion without desorbtion. Recommended for drying unsaturated hydrocarbons and highly polar compounds such as methanol and ethanol. Typically used in regenerable drying systems to remove water vapor or contaminants that have a smaller critical diameter than four angstroms.Also can be refilled or renewed by heating Dribox™ in a microwave oven for 15-20 second bursts until color turns from pink to blue (For conventional ovens: 3 hours at 240°F). Pair with a glass jar or one of our foil ziplock bags for a great combination.
