StayDry™ silica gel beads are a granular, porous form of silicon dioxide made synthetically from sodium silicate. It is used as a desiccant to remove water vapor via ADSORPTION onto its surface. Available in a wide variety of weights to suit the package space. These white beads are the simple solution to most moisture packaging needs.

Applications: Commonly used with food applications, but is suitable for applications extending into storage, shipping and some medical applications. Also can be renewed by heating pouches to 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 to 2 hours.
