StayDry™ 4A (Ångström) Molecular Sieve (synthetic alumina silicate) beads contain a uniform network of crystalline pores and empty adsorption cavities developed for its efficient adsorption of moisture in a wider range of temperatures than other common desiccant media. It is used as a desiccant to remove water vapor via ADSORPTION onto its surface - including molecules as large as butane. Good for water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (SO2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ethylene (C2H4), ethane (C2H6), propane (C3H6), and ethanol (C2H6O). These bulk loose beads come sealed for use and can be used to refill large-scale sorbent applications.

Applications: Commonly used in industrial and commercial applications that require strong moisture absorption without desorption. Recommended for drying unsaturated hydrocarbons and highly polar compounds such as methanol and ethanol. Typically used in regenerable drying systems to remove water vapor or contaminants that have a smaller critical diameter than four angstroms.
