Without a tear notch, these flat pouches are designed to be child resistant. The pouches are made from a multi-layer material that is FDA approved for food, and difficult to tear without the aid of a tear notch. Once sealed, the CR bags are tamper-evident. After cutting off the sealed header above the zipper, contents can be accessed and the bag is resealable, however this standard zipper is not child-resistant.
