IMPAK carries three versions of Foot Pedal HF (Hands Free) Sealers; Impulse Heat HF sealer, Double Impulse Heat HF sealer and an always-on or Constant Heat HF Sealer.

Foot Pedal Hands Free Sealers are the next step up in work efficiency. You save time, money and gain more consistent product quality by using a Foot Pedal Sealer. Tabletop sealers are inexpensive, but not very efficient. Foot operated sealers allow for high volume heat sealing. Some people refer to these sealers as foot pedal packaging machines.

The “Hands Free” Advantage
Foot pedal sealers are simply high quality sealers mounted on adjustable metal stands. Having a foot pedal to engage the Sealer frees the hands for maneuvering product.

Applications
Foot sealers are the way to go for sealing polyethylene bags, foil bags, gusseted pouches, etc. The adjustable angles of the stand allow “hands-free” operation. Most of our customers that need to seal larger width bags opt to purchase Foot Pedal sealers instead of standard tabletop impulse sealers.

How They Work
IMPAK’s Impulse Heat HF Sealer operation is simple. Pushing down on the foot pedal actuates a single side heating element, creating the seal by heat-bonding one side to another. Our Double-Impulse Foot Sealer is great for materials requiring higher temperatures. Double sealers are usually requested by customers sealing heavy duty packaging between 10 and 20 mils thick. Double sealers have the advantage of heating strips on both sides for a stronger bond. Our Constant Heat HF Sealer, sometimes called an industrial sealer, has an “always-on” heat element, perfect for factory applications which need to handle a variety of difficult to seal products. Customers appreciate the bigger width seal attributes offered by the Constant Heat HF Sealer.

We Highly Recommend:
IMPAK highly recommends a 5mm Wide Heat Sealer over 2mm Sealers. Using most heat seal equipment, a 5mm seal will prove superior to 2mm seals in almost all real world packaging scenarios.
