This foil pouch is designed for hot fill and retort applications, and is autoclavable. The unprinted film pouches are label-ready and custom printing options are available. It features two tear notches on either side:
- Tear Notch Set 1: 2.375" from open end
- Tear Notch Set 2: 3.125" from open end
Applications: Food products, long-term storage, emergency preparedness, retortable meals, freeze dried foods, pet foods, pet treats, veterinary products, chemical packaging, medical devices, sterilizable instruments, beauty care products, botanicals, vitamins and supplements, lawn and garden products, any product sensitive to moisture or oxygen
Material: This pouch is made from PAKVF4PCA, an ultra-high barrier foil laminated structure made with high performance adhesives. The proprietary sealant layer is designed to withstand the effect of aggresive compounds, food products, or chemicals, including solvents. This material has a high temperature inner-layer and is suitable for retort applications, hot-fill food processing, and autoclavable medical devices - thus it is able to withstand 250℉ (121.1 ℃) temperatures.
