The products here reflect pricing at 30-50% below standard because they are produced in large volumes. Substantial cost reduction opportunities are possible if these items fit your company's flexible packaging needs. Or as our production manager says, "People should take advantage of these sweetheart deals!"

Production overruns can happen for several reasons. Sometimes an anchor customer will switch to a different size of pouch or decide to try a different style of packaging, and we are left with pallets of their original product. Occasionally a pouch is not made exactly to customer specifications and we end up with a large quantity of those perfectly good pouches. Rather than discarding that product, which would be antithetical to our ecological principles, we find other buyers who want to take advantage of volume discounts.

If you see a pouch here that is larger than another, using more material, but available at a lower cost, there are two reasons for that:

1. It was produced in conjunction with a much larger order
2. The customer that it was produced for secured high volume pricing
