Flat Bottom Bags
Flat bottom side gusset pouches offer an elegant, sturdy, retail-ready packaging solution designed to provide a striking look and larger amount of printable surface for branding. Packaging engineers know these as 8 side seal bags because they are produced using 5 strips of material sealed together on 8 sides, but they are also known as block bottom, square bottom, and box bottom bags.
Flat bottom bags are the most recent iteration of side gusset pouches, frequently seen in coffee packaging. Unlike traditional side gusset coffee bags, they are very stable when sitting upright on a shelf and provide more opportunities for unique designs and printing. They also have a wider opening and more capacity than a traditional doypack stand up pouch.
