Pipette Sterilization Packaging

Pipette tips used to deposit samples in a microplate

IMPAK produced these 3-side-seal pouches at the request of one of our customers that provides sterile medical devices. They are designed to hold pipette tips for use in the medical research field, or any other field that requires sterilization. Customer applications include 8 kGy Gamma sterilization for pipette tips, luer locks, and other products. The 2.5 mil thick FDA Medical Grade PAK48MT2500 material provides good protection against corrosion and oxidation while keeping pouches flexible and easy to work with.

These pouches come in a range of sizes, featuring 0.25" side seals, tear notches, and differing load lip styles on the open end to make filling less difficult. Each pouch has a small difference in the length of each side - giving you a little extra material to hold when loading. Simply heat seal after filling to have a product ready for use when needed - just use the tear notch to open.
