A desiccant is a simple substance that induces and/or sustains a state of dryness around itself, reducing the humidity inside a sealed container. IMPAK sells only desiccants with the highest performance efficiencies. We offer clays, non-indicating and indicating silica gels (which change color to show when it has reached its capacity for moisture adsorption), and molecular sieve materials.
