ZipSeal™ Pouches

ZipSeal™ pouches are especially popular for food applications but are also used in many non-food industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, compounds, medical, adhesives, automotive, machinery, electronics, telecommunications, defense, aerospace, exports, and many more. IMPAK stocks pouches with a variety of zipper profiles, in sizes as small as 2” and as large as 36”. All of our ZipSeal™ Mylar bags meet FDA standards for food storage (except the static shielding bags not intended for food products).

The zipper on the majority of our pouches is a single track ZipSeal™ which is comprised of a strip of material which protrudes from the pouch that fits directly inside of a track on the opposing side of the pouch. For a stronger seal, we offer a DualTrack ZipSeal with two strips and two tracks. The double track zippers are often used on large bags and in instances where sensitive and valuable products are being packaged. DualTrack ZipSeal™ is also widely used in liquid/viscous applications where the pressure applied by the product might otherwise force the ZipSeal to open from the inside. And for those who want and extra layer of security, ask about our Croc-Lok ZipSeal™ option.

IMPAK does not sell Ziploc® bags because Ziploc® is a registered trademark of S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc. We can, however, provide you with resealable pouches just like them, or in a variety of other formats. Our range of zipper profiles address packaging challenges that exceed the capabilities of a standard ziplock bag, including packaging liquids, fine powders, and aggressive chemicals.

Not sure what OZE or ZTE mean?

• OZE | Open Zipper End: The bag is sealed on all sides except the zipper end; it can be filled and closed without being sealed.
• ZTE | Zipper Tamper Evident: The top of the bag is pre-sealed above the zipper; it is filled and sealed at the “bottom.”
