Peel Pouches
Peelable pouches, often called peel pack or chevron seal pouches, are widely used for sterile medical instruments. Unlike most pouches that rely on strong seals to prevent bursting or leakage, peel pouches are designed so that the top and bottom layers of the pouch can be quickly and easily pulled or peeled apart. This functionality is vital for emergency situations that require fast access to tools or medicines.
Peel pouches are typically made with two different materials, usually a clear material for visibility and often a breatheable material for sterilization. The seals on these bags are inset so that the two layers of the pouch can be quickly grasped, and the angled or chevron seal shape makes opening the pouch easier. If your application calls for a specialized size, shape, or materials for a peel pack pouch, contact IMPAK to discuss custom production options.
Peel pouches can also come pre-sterilized - browse our Sterilized Packaging options, or contact us for more information.
