Open Zipper End Foil Pouches
Open Zipper End (OZE) ZipSeal™ Bags are closed on 3 sides and open at the zipper end. This means they may be filled and closed without requiring a heat seal. They are an alternative to the ZTE, or Zipper Tamper Evident bags, which are filled from the bottom and should be sealed thereafter. Order below.
Please note, some of the bags below will have a fold-over bottom which will allow you an additional amount of space when packaging your product, while others will have a 3 side seal which is a hard seal made by machine.
Our Mylar bags are a food grade and FDA approved material (except static shielding bags).
While many of the bags which follow were originally designed in the early 90's for the packaging of microwell plates, uses and applications have grown to include some electronic components, storage of personal moisture-sensitive items, seeds, tissue samples and many other items that are sensitive to moisture, oxygen or UV (ultraviolet) light.

More Than Ziploc®
IMPAK does not sell Ziploc® bags (Ziploc® is a registered trademark of S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc.), though we can provide you with resealable pouches just like them. Our range of zipper profiles address packaging challenges that exceed the capabilities of a standard ziplock bag. These challenges include packaging liquids, fine powders, and aggressive chemicals.

Not sure what OZE or ZTE mean? This refers to where the seal is. On a Zipper Tamper Evident (ZTE) bag, the top of the bag is pre-sealed above the zipper so it is filled from the “bottom.” On an Open Zipper End (OZE) bag, the bag is sealed on all sides except the zipper end, which means it can be packed and closed without being sealed.
